The seventh annual Women’s Leadership Breakfast, a project of Women United and United Way of the Big Bend will bring community members together for a morning of inspiration and motivation.  This year’s keynote speaker is Shannon Bream: a Tallahassee native, FSU College of Law graduate, author, journalist, podcaster, wife, and daughter.

Shannon began her legal career specializing in race discrimination and sexual harassment cases and is well versed in the struggles that many in our community face daily.  From humble beginnings at a local ABC affiliate in Tampa, FL, she practiced law during the day while interning at night making coffee and answering phone calls.  In 2007, she landed a job with Fox News at the network’s Washington, DC bureau, and has distinguished herself as their Chief Legal Correspondent in the years that have followed.  Bream is also the host of FOX News Sunday with Shannon Bream and has written several books including two New York Times #1 Best Sellers.  In 2018, she wrote Finding the Bright Side: The Art of Chasing What Matters, which is based on her life experiences and lessons learned.

Shannon and her husband, Sheldon, enjoy travelling, fly fishing and describe themselves as “a tad obsessive” about college football.  Their home is run by their English Labrador Retriever, Biscuit Bream.

We are so excited to have Shannon Bream speaking at the 7th Annual Women’s Leadership Breakfast and hope you will join us for this incredible event.

On November 14th, Women United will host its 7th Annual Leadership Breakfast in celebration of women leading in business and philanthropy. This year serves as a call to action for women and all members of our community to create positive change through sharing their time, talent, and treasure. Last year we were fortunate to have Lauren Bush Lauren as our keynote speaker.

Women United consists of women leadership givers who are passionate and committed to the work of the United Way. Men who support the contributions of women are encouraged to also attend the breakfast.
