What happens to the money we raise together?
Distribution of this money is based on the decisions of the Community Investment Team, which is a trained group of more than 100 local volunteers who are knowledgeable about the community’s needs. This panel of volunteers reviews each agency’s finances, programs, facilities, and long-range plan within the broad framework of the community’s needs. After thorough analysis, these volunteers recommend how much money each agency’s program should receive.

Would you like to volunteer on a Community Investment Team?
UWBB relies on the Community Investment process to distribute funds to certified agencies. Remember, it’s 100-percent volunteer driven, and anyone in our community may volunteer to assist with the funds-allocation process.
