When a community needs help, a call goes out for a TEAM to come together and do whatever is needed to make things right. TEAM 20-ELEVEN is made up of outstanding leaders in their field and will play the role of quarterback for their individuals companies. Today, our community is sending out the signal. State and federal funding for important health- and social-service programs is in serious jeopardy and is happening at a time when people in the Big Bend need these services more than ever. Warm meals need to be delivered to seniors, children continue to need quality daycare, and people experiencing homelessness need emergency shelter – despite deep budget cuts.

You have all agreed to help us raise the money to help fill some of these gaps. We applaud you and stand ready to help you in any way we can. This toolkit is designed to start you on your way as you and your co-workers “suit up” and answer the community’s call. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!

TOUCHDOWN!
Thank you for being an Employee Campaign Coordinator (ECC) for United Way of the Big Bend (UWBB). Being an ECC means many things. Coordinators help distribute campaign materials, organize events, and advocate for UWBB. YOU are essential to the success of your campaign, and we can’t say “Thank You” enough!

Being an ECC is a great experience – not only is it a fun and effective way to support your community, but you can benefit directly as well. ECCs become more connected to people throughout their office, providing a chance to strengthen relationships. ECCs also play a leadership role and are able to demonstrate those skills in the workplace. In addition, you will get the opportunity to network with other people in our community through our training and thank-you events.

Lastly, ECCs get a closer look at the needs and resources within our community. Whether this is your first time as an ECC or your tenth, this toolkit is designed to help you get the most out of your campaign! Thanks again and don’t forget … Employee Campaign Coordinators matter!

Meet the Cheerleaders who are ready with a playbook and team support!
